Les Miserables (1998)

Summary

Liam Neeson stars as Jean Valjean, a heartless convict who is transformed by a single act of mercy.  Uma Thurman is Fantine, a vulnerable prostitute who begs Valjean to raise her only child, Cosette.  Geoffrey Rush is an ambitious policeman determined to return Valjean to prison. The pursuit consumes both men's lives, and soon Valjean finds himself in the midst of the student revolutions in France.

Loren’s Review

This movie is such an awesome display of grace versus the law.  It’s like watching Romans chapters 2 thru 8 play out in the lives of two individuals.
